Aprilia 125 Classic

In the mid nineties, Aprilia created the 125 Classic, an impregnable bike in its class. Although many consider its suspensions very unflexible, the overall weight is not felt that much by the rider. The brakes respond well, but not to violent thanks to the 125cc engine.

Honda Brazil has finally launched its new entry level naked, the replacement to the CB250 twister-the CB300R. For the time being, Honda will sell this new naked only for Brazil and then South America. The evolution of the Honda CB will enter Europe after confirmation from Honda in the autumn.

The Aprilia RS50 is a GP derived replica sport production motorcycle made by Aprilia. It is powered by a single cylinder 2-stroke aluminium cylinder block, liquid cooled 50cc AM6 engine. The bike is popular in countries that have restrictions on motorcycle engine size. The bike is 7/8ths the size of the average bike and is perfect for smaller or shorter riders. At 175lbs. dry weight, it is easy to maneuver and support while stopped, making it popular among beginners and smaller-sized riders. This and other similar machines such as the Derbi GPR50 and Yamaha TZR50 have also been popular choices as a more adult-sized option for MiniGP racing, which is otherwise more commonly participated in by riders of smaller bikes such as the Honda NSR50.

Aprilia is back. And they aren't messing around. Or at least so they say. And judging by their 2009 World Superbike rider lineup of multi-time 250cc GP world champion Max Biaggi and Alex Hofmann (current test rider), both of whom have an uber-long list of racing credentials, we think it would be best for the competition to take them seriously. We are.

The WSBK boys will be astride the all-new RSV4, a first for the Italian marque, which until now has been known for its V-Twin sport motorcycles and an ever-growing scooter lineup. The 65-degree V-Four engine sits at 998.9cc, just under the 1000cc Superbike limit, and features "total electronic engine management," thus we expect fly-by-wire throttle and traction control to come as standard equipment. They claim these electronics will be managing in the neighborhood of 180 horsepower, putting it right up there with the best of them.

The first motor was introduced at the International Motorcycle Exhibition (well the model was sene JMS) in Milan on 14-19 November 2006.

Aprilia NA 850 Mana is the Naked Bike washed-use features computer-controlled CVT automatic transmission. With this feature, Rider can select the drive with a fully automatic (available 3 modes: touring, sport and rainy conditions) or manually (with push button or foot-actuated) shifting with 7 speeds. The machine has a 850cc, 90 degree V-Twin engine, electronic fuel injection and dual-spark ignition.

Aprilia builds the Mana 850 GT on a robust steel tube trellis frame with a single piece aluminum swingarm. This, together with the 43mm upside-down fork and spring preload and rebound damping adjustable shock absorber has much to do with the bike being able both to filter traffic around town and gather up hundreds of miles during those long weekend trips.
